Pianist and singer Vanessa Haynes possesses one of the finest voices on the British soul scene. With an upcoming EP, Vanessa will be showcasing some new songs as well as some of her favourites.
One of the singers from the British jazz funk titans, Incognito she is an in-demand singer and performs regularly at Ronnie Scott’s and with some prominent orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic, The Halle, The BBC Concert Orchestra, The Rte Orchestra and Guy Barkers Big Band. She has toured with Chaka Khan and Van Morison to name a few.
Vanessa Haynes celebrates the songs made famous by arguably the greatest soul singer ever to have lived, Aretha Franklin. The long-reigning and undisputed “Queen of Soul” known for her iconic “ R.E.S.P.E.C.T” song had passed away on 16 August 2018 at the age of 76, leaving an extraordinary legacy of timeless songs for generations.
