Magic Meadows Festival is designed to bring families together through joyful, hands-on experiences in nature. Whether you're exploring our woodland wonderland, getting crafty in the tipi, dancing to live music, or unwinding in the wellness yurt, this is a one-day family festival is where imaginations run wild and precious family memories are made.
Get ready for an unforgettable experience packed with theatre, live music, dance, arts and crafts, creative writing, bushcraft, and more! Whether your little adventurer loves to craft their own nature-inspired masterpieces, or immerse themselves in magical performances, there's something for everyone - parents included!
Our magical family event is nestled in picturesque meadows and woodland right on London's doorstep, in the quaint village of Elstree, Hertfordshire.

🎭Tiny T’s Theatre - Mermaid & Pirate Show
Join Fairy Tara and underwater friends for a sparkling adventure quest! Along the way, children will sing, help with colourful magic and shout out clues to guide our heroes through the ocean. With playful puppets, sparkling props and lots of laughter, this joyful interactive show invites young explorers to become part of the adventure.

A singer-songwriter from St Albans, Laura, blends quirky storytelling with relatable lyrics and a warm, engaging stage presence.
🐌Girard’s Journey- A Snail’s Tale Childen’s Storytelling with Kristy Sheed
Gather round for a magical story time as Girard the Snail wanders through the woods, meeting a host of woodland friends and discovering that sometimes, home is closer than you think.
🎸 Callum Granger
Hertfordshire-based and inspired by everything from Dylan to AC/DC, Callum’s sound is a rich mix of contemporary folk, Americana, roots and blues.
🪩Bubble Disco Show with Squidge and Pop
The Bubble Disco Show brings big beats, brilliant bubbles and non-stop family fun! This lively, interactive experience combines boogie-bursting tunes with a sky full of sparkling bubbles to create a magical, memory-making celebration for all ages. Expect a bubble spectacular like nothing before, and come ready to dance, pop and party as the bubbles drift all around you!
🎧 Old Skool Rave Finale
To close the festival in style, the Hip Hop Hooray crew will take over with an epic party set—bringing classic and fresh tunes to get everyone on their feet and dancing into the evening!
🥁 African Family Drumming Workshop with Steven Kasamba from Bantu Arts
Feel the rhythm, connect with culture and experience the joy of community through our Ugandan/African Family Drumming Workshop. Led by renowned cultural practitioner and performer Steven Kambasa, this interactive workshop invites families of all ages to explore the vibrant sounds and traditions of African drumming.
🕺 Street Dance Workshop and Dance Off!
This high-energy street dance session is packed with squats, turns, jumps and funky moves that’ll get kids moving, grooving and grinning from ear to ear. The workshop will include a dance off between kids and parents, best get practising your moves!
🎵 Laura Dannan’s Little Sunbeams Songs & Sounds Workshop
For our youngest festival go-ers, bring your under 3’s to enjoy some nursery rhymes, play percussion instruments and move to beautiful sounds in Laura’s wonderful workshop.
💿 Learn to DJ
Get ready to drop some beats! In this hands-on introduction to DJ’ing workshop, budding young DJs can learn the basics of mixing tunes on state of the art equipment.
🫧 Bubble Spectacular Workshop with Squidge and Pop
A sky full of colour and wonder, as Squidge & Pop bring even more bubble magic to the meadows. Watch giant bubbles stretch, twist and shimmer with swirling rainbows of pinks, greens and blues as they drift through the air like dreams on the breeze.
⛺ Baby Sensory Den
For the littlest ones in need of a chill out space, we’ve got you covered with an Under 3’s Sensory Tent. Come and find the tent decorated with foliage, flowers and ribbons, and snuggle up with cushions, rugs, soft toys and blankets while you take some much needed time out.
🧘 Family Yoga with SouLand Yoga
Join us for relaxing 30-minute yoga sessions created especially for children and families. Blending simple yoga poses, creative movement, mindfulness and music, these sessions are perfect for little bodies and big people!
🥁 Capoeira with ACM Capoeira
Experience the energy of Capoeira – the incredible Afro-Brazilian art form that combines dance, music, acrobatics and martial arts. This lively family workshop welcomes all ages to learn basic moves, kicks, cartwheels and even handstands!
Arte Cultura Movimento de Capoeira is an authentic capoeira group with direct historical links. Their style is contemporary Capoeira, an evolving form that incorporates Capoeira Angola, regional elements, breaking, acrobatics and various other martial arts.
🐐 Goat Grooming
Get up close with our friendly goats! Hop into the pen for cuddles, brushing and a chance to spend time with some of the farm's favourite residents.
🌳 Forest School Adventures
Discover the wonders of the outdoors with our Forest School coach. Families can learn bushcraft and basic survival skills while inspiring curious minds to explore the natural world.
💆 Meadow Massages with The Inspiration's Team
For parents in need of a moment to unwind, treat yourself to a soothing scalp & shoulder or mini back massage while relaxing in the meadow. Massages are bookable on the day for an additional cost.
🎨 Painting to Music with Kelly Briggs
Dance, paint and create together in this magical interactive workshop using natural inks and paints hosted by @artist_kellybriggs
📖 Creative Writing & Storytelling
Inspire young imaginations with a storytelling workshop designed to get little minds dreaming big and creating magical adventures.
🏺 Pottery with Sarah Core Arts
Get hands-on with nature-inspired clay creations and take home your masterpiece on the day. Feeling adventurous? Try the pottery wheel with bookable slots throughout the festival.
🎨 Natural Art to Music
Step into a world where creativity, nature and music come together. Using natural materials, earthy colours and inspired by the sounds around us, children and adults alike are invited to create beautiful works of art while immersing themselves in the rhythm of the festival.
🎨 The Magic Meadows Creative Station
Drop in throughout the day and let your imagination run wild at our rolling Creative Station! Packed with crafts, colouring, nature-inspired activities and plenty of materials to explore, it's the perfect place for little artists to create at their own pace.
SOMETHING FOR THE ADULTS…
MASSAGES
The Inspirations Beauty team will be on hand with some soothing massages in the meadow. Melt away any stress or tension with a scalp & shoulder massage or mini back massage. Bookings are being taken now but we will also be taking walk ins on the day.
YOGA
Hosted in the SouLand Yoga Yurt, we will be running family friendly yoga classes throughout the day.
WINE & CHEESE
Go gourmet at the Vine-yl Wine and Cheese truck who will be spinning tunes on Vine-yl while you enjoy a sophisticated snack!
